Previous Gopher Golph Scramble A Huge Success!
Valley Youth Centers held their first Gopher Golph Scramble during this year’s Spirit Valley Days. The golf outing was held at Enger Tower Golf Course on August 5, 2015. We had a delicious banquet dinner following the outing at the Gopher Bar in West Duluth. With 18 teams, we had a great turnout, and all proceeds went to the Valley Youth Centers. We look forward to next year’s scramble!
VYC Kids at The Tribute Fest
The children of the Valley Youth Centers of Duluth stayed busy this weekend helping with various activities at The Tribute Fest in Bayfront Park in Duluth. Their efforts helped raise nearly $900 for VYC. Some of the kids helped serve food, and the VYC wagon was a great awareness piece. Older kids helped with set-up and takedown, as well as cleanup throughout the weekend, and were a tremendous help to the success of the festival. Thanks to all who helped out!
